Listening to the universe means listening to your inner wisdom.
We usually know exactly when it is time to move on. However, our minds and the overwhelming emotion of fear can seriously sidetrack us.
If you notice any of the following clues in your life right now; feel the fear, embrace the fear and act anyway.
- You seem to lack Enthusiasm
You feel like your job doesn’t thrill you any longer, your relationships are all ‘ok’ but nothing more and there is an overall sense of DUH…
Going through the motions means that you don’t feel a whole lot of enthusiasm. It is as if the concepts of joy and silliness have been removed from your dictionary. Of course there’s ups and down’s but you do realize that you have gone numb most of the day.
You could easily label it as being emotionally drained and lacking positivity in your life.
If you feel this, that might just be a clear sign that a change is what you need.
- You get Moody and Stressed (over nothing)
When you get stressed over the least of things, you know something is not entirely right.
Instead of dealing with the source of what is actually draining you, you get hypersensitive to the tiniest irritation.
Frustration, irritation and a general feeling of anxiety can tell us a lot, if we let them.
Being comfortable with these feelings and simply allowing them to be there can already explain a lot and even relieve some of the anxiety. Whilst fighting it will only make things worse.
- Your Body is ‘Acting up’
When you’re experiencing ‘weird little things’ that can’t really be explained by a doctor, the source of it all might not be found in test results.
We’re talking about unexplained little hick ups like short periods of flew or particular injuries that oblige you to rest. Racing thoughts that keep you awake at night, headaches, digestive issues, a sense of fatigue that is still there, even after twenty hours of good solid sleep, etc.
When you know at a subconscious level that you are avoiding change, your body might just try to assist you in the whole process by ‘acting up’.
When you pay attention and read the messages of the universe, you can feel confident and strong, as you know that the power is within you to change.
However, thinking about change, doesn’t actually change anything in the long run. Start to implement small changes in the way you think, take small steps in the direction that scares you the most.
A yoga retreat might just be the escape that you need to have a think about all of this and, to come up with a plan. A week without any obligations or expectations, a week where you do exactly what you want and rest. Adding in yoga, meditation and healthy meals to recharge and rejuvenate.
