What will I get from Revealing Vajra Yoga Retreat?
Listening to the feedback and reading the testimonials, I could give you about 200 different takeaways.

However, there are 7 takeaways that can be generalized for most people.

Union

Yoga means Union, the union of Body, Mind and Spirit but also, the Union between People. On retreat, you will meet likeminded souls from all over the world, all sharing the same idea of relaxation, rejuvenation and me time.

Reconnect

Many people joining my retreats have high responsibilities in daily life, in whatever form. A retreat is just perfect to reconnect or to connect on an even deeper level with Yourself.

Start, restart or deepen your yoga practice

After a retreat, you will know exactly what to do when you find yourself on a mat without a teacher. You are fearless of trying out whatever new class as you know how to adjust all postures and you have experienced so many styles already on the retreat.

Meditation

Meditation will no longer be something that you keep skipping or postponing. Even if you have never meditated before, I’m quite sure you will become very interested in continuing your practice.

Peace of Mind

Leaving out all expectations, responsibilities, daily life frustrations and stress, you will find a retreat environment to be a magical and safe place to create that little bit more peace of mind.

Awareness and consciousness

There are 2 types of living:
You can either live mindlessly by just going through the motions or, you can become more aware and conscious of your actions.

On retreat, we can take the time to slow down and to learn to relax and observe. It is only then that we can get insight in what’s keeping us from being more mindful and aware of our behavior, our thoughts, and our actions.
Gently and curiously investigating, for the benefit of yourself and others.

Healthy Meals

Not just some healthy stuff tossed together that will look goofy on the Gram.
No, what you will experience on revealing vajra yoga retreats will be way beyond any of that.

When Hayley North is joining as our chef, every single meal and juice you taste will make perfect sense. Sense in the reason of why you have it, the timing of having it, the way it was prepared and sourced: the full picture.

The luxury of taking the time to be conscious of what you eat and to be aware of the effect on your body.
With so many people struggling with their diets, with the overload of information on what is supposed to be good or bad for you. Simply taking the time to examine exactly what feels good and what doesn’t is bliss in itself.

For many people sweets are a guilty pleasure so that’s why Hayley is sharing one of her awesome recipes with us today, and you can throw out the ‘guilt’.

Jamaican Ginger Loaf

Ingredients:

175g whole spelt or kamut flour
1 tablespoon ground ginger
2 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tsp ground allspice
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
½ teaspoon sea salt
4 tablespoons almond milk
150g molasses
75g coconut sugar
75g melted coconut oil
1 tablespoon chia seeds
3 tablespoons water

Method:

Heat oven to 170 degrees or gas mark 3.
Grease a loaf tin (approx size 8x4x3 inches).
Soak the chia seeds in the water for approx 15 minutes to form a gel.
In a mixing bowl sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda, coconut sugar, salt and spices.
In a separate bowl add the coconut oil, almond milk, molasses and whisk together. Add the chia gel.
* You can also blend all the wet ingredients together if you wish.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and fold in gently to fully incorporate.
Pour into the loaf tin and bake in the oven for approx 90mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
Leave to rest for 10 mins before turning out onto a cooling rack.
Ideally leave for 24 hrs before diving in to let all the flavours settle!!

Have fun with this recipe, let your creativity out and let us know how your very own version tasted!

These were 7 takeaways from a Revealing Vajra Yoga Retreat that I wanted to share with you.
